Habtam Bet Ethiopia (2026): Is Habtam Bet Working? Status & Fake Sites
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Habtam Bet (also searched as habtambet or habtam bet login) was a well-known Ethiopian betting brand before the December 2025 ban. Many people still search for it, and several websites now use the name. We checked them on 9 October 2026.
Quick Answer: Habtam Bet Summary
| Brand | Habtam Bet |
| Original domain | habtam.bet — now a domain-for-sale page |
| Working official site | Not found |
| Look-alike sites | habtam.co, habtam-bet.com.et, et-habtambets.com, habtambettingethiopia.com |
Habtam Bet Domains We Checked
| Domain | What we saw (9 October 2026) |
|---|---|
| habtam.bet | Domain-for-sale page. No sportsbook. |
| habtam.co | Third-party “Habtam Bet review” site with its own login and bonus buttons and claims about licensing. |
| habtam-bet.com.et | Third-party site; says Habtam was formerly NLA-licensed and now operates under a Curaçao licence. We could not verify this. |
| et-habtambets.com | Third-party page from a network of look-alike brand sites. |
We checked from outside Ethiopia; some sites show different content, or block visitors, depending on country and network.
Is Habtam Bet Licensed in Ethiopia?
Habtam Bet’s Ethiopian licence ended with the nationwide revocation. Third-party sites make different claims about what happened next; none of them is the original operator’s domain. Ethiopia revoked every sports-betting licence on 15 December 2025, and the Ethiopian Lottery Service has not yet published a list of newly licensed operators. A website that still loads, shows odds or takes registrations is not proof of a licence. Our legal status guide explains what to look for, and the relaunch page tracks when licensed betting may return.
Habtam Bet Login and Registration
We could not find a real Habtam Bet login today. Do not enter your phone number, password or PIN on look-alike Habtam sites; they are not run by the original operator.
- Type the domain yourself. Do not log in from ads, TikTok comments or links forwarded in chats.
- Never send Telebirr or CBE Birr money to a private phone number to “activate” or “unlock” an account.
- Do not share SMS codes or your PIN with anyone claiming to be support.
- Only install an app if the brand’s own website links to it. APK files passed around in groups can contain malware.

Deposits and Withdrawals: Telebirr and CBE Birr
Before you deposit anywhere, open the live cashier and check that the same method works for withdrawals, not just deposits, and what the minimum and processing time are. Payment routes to betting sites have changed often since the ban. Our guides to betting with Telebirr, betting with CBE Birr and withdrawals that do not arrive explain what to check.
Habtam Bet Alternatives Available to Ethiopian Players
If you cannot verify Habtam Bet’s site or cashier, these established international bookmakers accept Ethiopian players:
| 1win Aviator and other crash games plus a full sportsbook; large first-deposit bonus. | Visit 1win → |
| 1xBet Wide football and live-betting coverage with an ETB account. | Visit 1xBet → |
| Melbet Low minimum deposit and Amharic/English support. | Visit Melbet → |
18+ only. Payment methods and offers change; open the cashier and confirm the method before you deposit. All Ethiopian sports-betting licences were revoked on 15 December 2025 and no operator is currently licensed in Ethiopia; the international bookmakers above are licensed abroad, not in Ethiopia. Check the legal status before you deposit, and gamble responsibly.
