Last updated: 9 October 2026
OKBet (also searched as ok bet or okbet ethiopia) runs an Ethiopia-specific domain, okbet.et. Do not confuse it with the Philippine OKBet brand. We checked it on 9 October 2026.

OKBet Domains We Checked
| Domain | What we saw (9 October 2026) |
|---|---|
| okbet.et | Live site after a browser check: Register, Login, Sports, TV, Deposit, Games, Support. |
| okbets.bet | Separate domain that also ranks for “okbet”; blocked our visit, relationship unknown. |
We checked from outside Ethiopia; some sites show different content, or block visitors, depending on country and network.
Is OKBet Licensed in Ethiopia?
We found no licence number or company name on okbet.et. Ethiopia revoked every sports-betting licence on 15 December 2025, and the Ethiopian Lottery Service has not yet published a list of newly licensed operators. A website that still loads, shows odds or takes registrations is not proof of a licence. Our legal status guide explains what to look for, and the relaunch page tracks when licensed betting may return.
OKBet Login and Registration
Type okbet.et yourself; Register and Login are at the top. Use the support Telegram linked from the site.
- Type the domain yourself. Do not log in from ads, TikTok comments or links forwarded in chats.
- Never send Telebirr or CBE Birr money to a private phone number to “activate” or “unlock” an account.
- Do not share SMS codes or your PIN with anyone claiming to be support.
- Only install an app if the brand’s own website links to it. APK files passed around in groups can contain malware.

Deposits and Withdrawals: Telebirr and CBE Birr
Before you deposit anywhere, open the live cashier and check that the same method works for withdrawals, not just deposits, and what the minimum and processing time are. Payment routes to betting sites have changed often since the ban. Our guides to betting with Telebirr, betting with CBE Birr and withdrawals that do not arrive explain what to check.
OKBet Alternatives Available to Ethiopian Players
If you cannot verify OKBet’s site or cashier, these established international bookmakers accept Ethiopian players:
| 1win Aviator and other crash games plus a full sportsbook; large first-deposit bonus. | Visit 1win → |
| 1xBet Wide football and live-betting coverage with an ETB account. | Visit 1xBet → |
| Melbet Low minimum deposit and Amharic/English support. | Visit Melbet → |
18+ only. Payment methods and offers change; open the cashier and confirm the method before you deposit. All Ethiopian sports-betting licences were revoked on 15 December 2025 and no operator is currently licensed in Ethiopia; the international bookmakers above are licensed abroad, not in Ethiopia. Check the legal status before you deposit, and gamble responsibly.
